Fuel Line 305 to 350
Hey guys i have a 84 Camaro Z28 (mods in sig) orginally came with a 305 but was swapped out for a 350 and i cant seem to get it running right it just dosent seem to be making the power everyone thinks it should be making. Is it possible the dinky stock fuel lines cant feed my engine i know my engine has pretty minor mods just a idea cant figure this out any help would be great.

Highly unlikely.
A fuel line that's too small will allow the car to launch fine, maybe run through 1st gear and 2nd gear OK, then fall flat on its face halfway through 3rd. If the car isn't doing something like that, then the problem isn't fuel delivery.
I'd be more inclined to suspect the heads. Low compression poor-flowing smogger heads on top of a dished piston motor, combined with (I'm guessing here) the old 292° 230°/.480" cam that everybody has to try at least once just to make sure that it really doesn't work, will produce a motor that has no leave whatsoever because of the cam and compression, and no top end whatspever because of the heads' lack of flow and the low compression.

I don't suppose those Edelbrock headers are for the LG4 (VIN H) application, are they?

Measure the exhaust pipe at the cat (if it still has one), or the pipe that goes over the rear axle. If it is the old LG4 exhaust, you're killing the power.
The fuel line would behave as RB described. The exhaust will choke it at all times.

If it's a stock 305 cat, it's going to be a restriction, even if gutted.
Edelbrock perpetuated a cruel joke by making headers to fit LG4 exhaust. Even the magazines can't make a car run with them.
It's not the headers themselves, it's the EFE valve and weeny cat that cause the problems. 3" after the cat is good, but it's too late. You need at least 2-1/4" from each side and 3" all the way from where the two banks come together.

fuel lines would be 3/8" supply and 5/16" return. stock.. i don't know how much HP a 3/8" line is capable of.. but I have an LT1 doing 300hp and its fine.
