Hey just wondering if anyone has done this. I know that they have kits for the trucks, and the vettes and for the new GTO's. I also know that they currently do not fit right now in the 4th gens. have been following it alot on ls1tech.com and there is supposed to be a eaton type kit coming out by x-mas...they say you have to cut into the cowl a little because of how the engine sits in the bay and the clearance issues. Anyways I sold my 3rd gen because it was an RS and was just giving too much trouble. I also wanted t tops. I am interested in the roots set up because of the bottom end, i already have a turbo car so i want sometihng different. Its either gonna be engine/tranny swapped 3rd gen, w/supporting mods. or a 4th gen w/supporting mods for that..swapped rear end etc. I would like to run this s/c set up....what u guys think?

i actually have a lightning charger here.. its brand new from ford.. never been run.

ive been wanting to do somthing similar, but i havent had the time, and i nolonger have enough shop access to make it all go together (im living in a apartment right now... sucks ***.) im probly just going to sell the blower.. heh.

anyhoo, i like the idea....

 

I thought I heard that speartech put a magnacharger on their third gen project. But it doesn't seem to mention it on their web site.

Bruce Hawkins from Hawks (TGO Sponsor) has a magnachargerd LS1 thirdgen. They did an article about it in High Performamce Pontiac magazine.
