Front to Rear Fuel lines

I have a 90 rs with a 305 tbi i will be converting to a 383 soon with a miniram. I need all new fuel lines should i just get the stock ones that came for the tbi or what? I dont even know which ones i need i dont know the sizes i have if you goto finelines.com they have alot of different sizes. Did the tbi and tpi's have the same size lines. Also where is a good place to buy a new sending unit does anywhere sell them stainless.

all thirdgens have 3/8 feed and 5/16 return lines. That should be sufficient. Probably dont need new ones at all. What type of sending unit? Do you mean for the fuel gauge?

I need new lines the old ones are rusted as well as the sending unit. I just havnt seen a stainless unit anywhere. Well i guess the sending unit dont have to be stainless ill just clear coat it but be nice if the lines were.

Why not just get a pickup from a Junkyard? Then grab some new metal line on a roll, and a tubing bender, or if you are less adventurous you could go with the pre-made stuff.

Ill just buy a new sending unit before i go through the trouble of dropping a tank at the junk yard and it still might not be anygood. I like the lines prebent from finelines bought my front to rear brake line from there very nice peice. I try to go for the best stuff on this car not everything thing can be the very best but i try. Also everything is factory correct.

have you checked with a chevy dealer. as of a few months ago you could still buy factory lines. cheaper than fine lines. If you want part numbers I might be able to get them for you.

Here are the part numbers. There are 2 different front to rear lines. The only difference is the angle of the end at the front.
10036972 high pressure
10036971 return

10068750 high pressure
10068749 return

10038113 pickup to fuel filter

10113094 hose frame to engine
10068767 hose frame to engine

10055874 pipe on engine
10055875 pipe on engine

one of the high pressure lines and one of the return lines have been discontinued.

10113094 is discontinued, I tried to get a new one to replace mine. That's the Feed hose. 8767 is the Return hose and was still available last I checked.

I personally after working with the stock lines, would buy a roll of 25' of the aluminum stuff in 3/8" only and bend it up appropriately, using flaring and so on. That way the lines are ready for -6AN lines on both.

Makes life much easier.
