Hello:

I'm swapping a 350 into my 86 iroc.

I bought some forged 5.7 Scat rods. I took them to a shop to put my Keith Black Silvolite pistons on them.

I got them back, but the rods' color changed on the small end as if they heated them too much. Or is this normal?

Will this be a problem? Did they weaken?
