soild motor mount ???

hey all i know someone putting a 1979 sb chevy 350 in a 1983 camaro and they have the moroso solid motor mount kit that is for 82 92 camaro and firebird chevy v8 and 90 deg. v6 part number 62610 and 62510

when they called moroso to see if they would fit they said no.

anyone know if this is true or is moroso full of crap?

The frame kit is obviously made for the thirdgen, they have two different sets of motor side mounts that they list for sb, one sb only the other sb/bb, whichever set will fit the stock thirdgen V8, will also fit the earlier engine he is wanting to install, jegs doesnt have a pic of the 62510, just the 62500, which it seems like it would be the correct one, however since the 510 is the one specified in the pad kit, i would buy those.

Like mentioned above, I used the Moroso 62610 and 62510. bolted right together. As with any solid motor mount install, do yourselves a favor and just snug the mounts on the frame so you can move them with a little force. That way when your drop the motor in you can do what you have to do for alignment then tighten the frame mounts down tight tight once the bolts are through the motor mounts.
