TBI 305 to 350 H.O.

im kind of finding out as much as i can about a bunch of different motors, and i was wondering if anybody has ever done this or know anyone who has. Or even a carb 350 in general i want o know what im going to need to do computer wise, i know the comp controls torque converter lockup. Actually anything about what im going to need to do to the comp will be very important because i know the comp pretty much controls the whole car, will i be ok if i rip out the comp and just go with a turbo 350-400 and aftermarket converter, any advice is greatly appreciated as this TBI is becoming more of a hassle every day and i havent even started this project yet. Any parts i will need or anything like that will be once again greatly appreciated, Thanks alot.

Something that *might* be less of a hassle to get in will usually end up causing more little headaches later on......
