wire F*** up, any help?

ok my friend is doing a V8 swap into his 89 camaro RS with a 2.8 V6 in it originally. when i old 2.8 was taken out it was kinda a hack job but only in one real sense. where the harness connects on the driver side it was unbolted and disconected ok, but on the passenger side where that mass of wires goes through the fender, it was thought that those wires were for the comp only so they were all cut at the fender. now for the real F*** up the harness that was left on the 2.8 was lost!!!!! so all that is in the bay as far as wires are the other side of that driver side connecter (the one that goes to lights and such) and thats about it. what do we need to still get things to work???? i have another 89 RS at my house that had a 2.8 in it i think (well that is what the VIN said but the guy said he had a V8 for a month before i bought it and i think it has V8 mounts in) but most of the underhood wiring is there.. what would we need off of that to get a carberated 350 to work???? i also think that it is a pre 86 350 block if that makes a difference......... wire colors would be incredibly helpful too...... what is to the comp that can be scraped and what needs to be left there.......diagrams would be nice if anyone has one...

any help on this would be really nice

thanks

i just forwarded Tricksters email to me for the pinouts(post your email address if you don't get it) It depends on what you want to keep for what wires you will need from the comp. If you want to keep your elec. fuel pump, then you'll need to rewire the relay. If you want to keep a/c, then you'll need to eliminate the relay. And if you want to keep the electric fan, you will need to rewire that relay too. You'll also need to install a new way of locking up the torque converter if auto. The main ignition, tach, and whatnot are the same regardless. It's not that major just to make the car run, but all the accessories can take time. I'm just about finished with mine just waiting for a new carb.

I didn't keep jack going to my computer harness. I kept everything from the drivers side. Only thing you may need is maybe for the transmission for the VSS.
