factory gauges with LS1 swap

factory gauges with LS1 swap
Will the factory tach and speedo work with the LS1 harness? I've searched and found yes and no. It's a 92, so it's got the elec.VSS.

Yes it will work. The tach will require conversion box because the LS1 sends a different signal. I forget whether it is 1/2 or twice the TPI signal.
