Just thought id let you guys know my progress
hey, ive ben doing my engine swap for about a month now, would have been done but because of the holidays, vacation for a week, school, work, and girlfriend, ive had little time to spend on her. so far i ive done everything and have the engine + tranny out, it took awhile to get it out because i was selling parts off it before i had a hoist. so far all that is left is the botom end with heads, water pump and smog pump.... everything else was either sold or trashed. i boughtt a k-5 blazer with a fully rebuilt 350 bored 30 that had all the work already done by a co-worker this past summer, the truck is garbage but the engine was VERY nice for the price, of course i would have done some things different if i had built it, like a bigger cam and a different intake man. but it was all magnafluxed, machined and correctly built with new parts. this motor would have cost me about 3,000 but i got the whole truck with a fully rebuilt drivetrain for $800.
these are the only pics i have so far, they are from 12-20, ill be getting more today

i dont know if the images loaded, if not go here and to the second page, there are 2 pics

my next thing to do is take the motor out of my blazer and get it on the engine stand so i can clean it up, paint it, polish the valve covers and air cleaner, and install the edelbrock headers. i hope it runs right, i love this car, and ive been busting my a$$ for about a year now to be at this point of progress. ive spent about 2,000 on stupid things when i first got her and knew nothing about cars, except that mine had a v8, lol, its amazing how much u learn when u actually work on something yourself, and not just hear what others have to say and what u read in mag's and websites. well i hope you all enjoyed reading this and seeing my progress, im late for work and i must go so i can get money for my torque converter lol... later on my friends. let me know any ideas or comments, i like to hear everything.... all the work thats been done to my car is in my sig, BTW
