Car: 91 Camaro RS
Engine: 305 tbi
need new motor
Hey everyone,
I have a 91RS (inheireted from my son) which we have put alot of $ into. New trans, new front end, new fendres, new hood, you get the picture. Well now the car has a bad rod knock and its time to replace the motor. It is currrently a 305 tbi and I am looking for recomendations for someone to do the engine swap for me. Either a rebuilt 305 or as always suggested a 350.
We live in north suburb's of Detroit.

Engine: 96 LT1 5.7
Transmission: t5 5speed
Axle/Gears: 3.73 gears
go with a 350. if your going to do it. i had a 305 tpi in mine and i had it redone and it still crapped out on me. now i have a 96 lt1 out of a trans am. bought it on ebay for 1800. with 56.000 on the odm. so if your going to do it do right.
