Car: 1986 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 173, 2.8litre MPFI V6
Transmission: 700R4
thinking about swaping
I have a 2.8 v6 firebird. The engine is not right and thinking about just taking it out and rebuilding. But the thought crossed my mind to switch it out with a v8. nothing fancy just a stock 305 or 350 motor. I figured if I could find a "parts car" (engine still running good but wrecked) I could swap.
My question is How hard would this be to do. What all do I have to change out. How long do you think it would take?
