Fuel Question on LS1 Swap!!

Alright i'm getting all my parts together for my ls1 swap into my 91 camaro(FInaly ). Got about half of it together but i have a question on the fuel part. I'm going to go with a 4th gen tank since they dont have a return line. I already got a fuel pump kit from racetronics for a 99-02 camaro and i'm getting the tank this week. Is there anything else i need other then modifying the fuel lines (or getting 4th gen ones) to get the fuel work.

Thanks
Justin

I don't know what swapping to a 4th gen tank costs, but you can get an external fuel pressure regulator with all the required AN fittings, adapters and braided lines for $250. Thats the route I went.

I don't know how easy/hard it would be to mate a 4th gen pump to thirdgen lines since 4th gens use alot of nylon fuel lines and quick connect fittings. It might be easier to just get a 4th gen line.

From what I remember the PCM regulates the 4th gen fuel pressure via the fuel pump. My setup uses a corvette fuel pressure regulator and the stock TPI return lines.

The fuel pressure is not regulated by the PCM, it has a regulator built into the fuel pump assembly.

The easiest way i found is going with the aftermarket regulator and lines, that is the setup i will be running for a while.
