1jz swap?
I'm searched the boards, and google and haven't been able to locate anyone that's done a Toyota 1JZGTE swap. I found several importers that can get complete twin turbo 1JZ's with under 60,000 miles for around $1600. This includes everything, wiring, computer, even a transmission. Would this be too complicated?
Thanks
Phyte
P.S. I'm a domestic guy, but want something different. I twin turbo inline 6 sounds like a fun engine

Your search apparently showed just how popular this swap is going into a 3rd gen f-body. Right up there with 5.0's.
If you want to do this, looks like you get to be the innovator.
Other people may have other titles to bestow upon you.
I'd suggest an UT skin thickness verificiation. Or, if you wish, I can go ahead and lock this - having had to put a cat down a couple of weeks ago that had been in the family for 16 years, I know the turmoil that can cause; but sometimes you just gotta do whatcha gotta do...

I don't see the problem in this swap? I've built more small block chevy's then 90% of the people on this board. It's getting to the point where experiments interest me instead of the same ol same ol ya know? I thought it would be a fun/interesting project to take on.

Same mentality you described was what compelled me to do an LS1 swap instead of another 350 buildup. The LS1 project wasn't written up step by step, lots of learning, and the finished product was well worth the time investment.
