350? 383? 400??
Hi, its been a while since I've posted on the board. I'm glad to see its back up.
I'm looking at pulling better/ faster into my TA in mid summer. I think I've finally decided on the 400 to be different. I just want a fun everyday driver mostly and to back up some my my trash talking
. Thinking of a remanufacted 400 with headers with rv cam (not sure which one), high flow exhaust, edelbrock RPM manifold and card and no emissions. To come later would be transmission and probably rear in as the money comes alone and my foot gets heavier. Would one of the other motors be a better pick for me? whats y'all thoughts on this? I'm looking at having somewhere between $2000. and $2500. Thanks.

I built a 406 for my car. They are great motors. all around good torque and hp if built correctly. I don't thinkyou'll regret it.
