LT1 Swap PS hose woes. pls help
i am using a pressure hose off a caprice.. nice fit.. except it has some stupid hole in the hose on the box side, at the rubber/pipe union.. i believe some idle sensor threads in there.. anyway.. I want to put a bolt in it to plug it up.. I tried sealing with regular thread sealent but it will leaks.. anyone know of a fix? all i want to do is plug the hole. wondering if i threaded a bolt in and then welded it over with mig? wonder if that steel can be weldeD?
thanks.

its PIPE threads, not SAE BOLT threads....
for it to seal, you need a pipe plug... if you get a nice allen key one, it'll even look nice
local hardware store should have one...

is that the ss pressure line? and you are using it for the lt1 swap. it would be cool to be able to run a factory pressure line for my swap. is there any other problems with this line with the swap. thanks sean

there is no sensor.. car is 89 TA, engine is 96TA and hose is from caprice.. and i really dont need anyother junk cluttering up the engine bay.
think i may have it fixed.. got a bolt and an oring.. if that doesn't work.. i'll be welding.
