LT1 Block Only Question
Hey guys i have a question, their is a guy selling a 96 Z-28 LT1 Motor with 78K for 500 bucks. The only thing is that the Intake is not their. SO i was wondering what would be the result if i put my TPI injection on top of the lt1 block. Would it be a good idea to get better TPI heads. Any thoughts? thanks

You cant just bolt earlier heads to the block, your tpi is a restrictive piece of crap, the engine would have less than its rated power if you put that pile of junk intake on top of it, and you would also have to have the bolt pattern reworked to run it.
All in all a big waste of money to make a turd out of a good motor.
