Will a 350 from a suburban fit my car?
So will it? I have an 89 firebird 2.8L v6 right now. Will it be pretty much bolt up? or will i have to cut or fabricate anything? Or will it even fit? Thanks.

A 350 engine from a suburban is the same dimension as a 350 on a Z28/Trans Am. It will fit in your engine bay. You will need a tranny dedicated to a 305/350 housing since your V6 tranny will not fit.

I did a v6/350 swap on my 85 camaro SC. It was a fuel injected v6. All I had to do was get different engine mounts and figure out the fuel system. Pretty easy really. I switched from electric fans to a clutch driven, but in hindsight I wished I would have stayed with the electric.
My engine was out of a Suburban too, lol = most likely 4bolt block
