Cylinder head volume

Can anyone tell me the volume of the combustion chambers in 1982 305 CFI heads?

I have ported and polished these heads and increased their flow by 46%, according to a flow bench.

With the money and work I already have in these heads, I want to put them on a 350. I'm getting ready to build the 350 short block now. Even with their smaller valves, these heads are perfect for what I want.

I'd like to be able to order the pistons for the correct compression ratio, but I don't want to take the car off the road by pulling the heads for measurement.

They should be 416 castings.

If so, they were 58cc new. Of course, by the time you put larger valves in them and relieve the chambers so that the intakes aren't shrouded, they're a good bit larger. I'd expect to see 62cc or thereabouts, from your description.

It would probably be worth it to cc the chambers to find out exactly where you are. And to match the chambers to each other.

Their website doesn't seem to handle searched URLs very well today.

Click the "Search" button when that page opens ("chamber cc" will be in the search field), the first item that comes up is the kit I was trying to link.
