looking for advise...

I am looking for a little advise. I currently own a 92 RS 305ci with the T-5 tranny. The only modifications that have been made to the car, that I am aware of, are the muffler (Flowmaster), ignition wires (accel, but they need to be replaced), brake lines and front rotors and brake pads. I would really like to beef this thing up. I will be using the vehicle primarily for street use, but, I do not want to rule out track later on. I was thinking about putting in a 383 stroker, a T-56 Tranny, a 9 bolt rear (posi), Borla adjustable exhaust w/slp headers, and anything else that anyone can think of that would help. I also need to rebuild the front end and replace the suspension. But all this is coming from someone who does not have hardly any experience. I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone may have. Is there any particular brands I should look for? Are some combonations better than others?? Whatever engine I go with, I would like to use the aftermarket Daytona style hood, so I would like it to fit. Anything that you guys can tell me would be appreciated. The more detail the better. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Welcome aboard.

Your choices are pretty much wide open. Avoid pitfalls such as paying real money for ported 882 heads, too much cam, mismatched cam/heads/induction, and you'll be alright. Easiest way to avoid mismatches is to talk to the manufacturers and tell them what you've got planned, what you will be doing with it, what else you'rd doing beyond their product, etc.

Subframe connectors. Get them. Click on the Spohn sponsor button at the top of this page, some of the best out there. Also have conversion parts, such as crossmembers and torque arms.
