I'm looking to possibly swap out my tired 305 for an LT1. My question is, will I still be able to use the 749 computer for boost control on my Twin turbo bird? Does the LT1's ignition/spark control mix with 749? I've searched and read on swaps for the lt1, but nothing on the 749 computer with it.

no, you will not be able to use the 749 unless you keep your computer controlled distributor and block off the optispark hole in the timing cover and get the intake drilled for a distributor or switch to the carb intake. you'll still need a timing pointer of some sort.
