guages after swap/comp elim

is there a way to get the guages i.e. temp, amp and oil to work after swapping in an oldschool non computered 350 in place of a v6? Also do I just need to find the tach wire and hook it to the tach output on the HEI?

yes, none of the those go through the ECM, they connect straight to their respective gauge. just find the right wire coming out of the bulkhead connector for the wiring harness and connect them to the correct sensor. not sure on the tach since I think the V6 tach's had a different pulse count.

yes I know I'll have to change to a v8 tach, no big deal there, suppose I'm gonna get the car and have to hit the library and copy all the wiring diagrams.
