Finally. Swapping engine.
Well Im finally getting rid of the TBI 305 that has 315,000 miles. Swapping it with a 396 or 454 (dont know which one I want yet). Car is an 88 IrocZ.
Im gonna have to upgrade the suspension (its shot). I doubt the current tranny (700R4) can hold it. What about the rear? I want to keep this as budget as possible
BTW. Heres the intake setup im going to use

wow dude, thats nice! I was debating putting a bigger engine in...still am, but no matter what engine I were to put in I was told that my rear would have to go as well as my tranny! I was told basically anything bigger than a 350 would rip my car appart...I'm an 89 so its pretty much the same thing. But my gosh man, that things a beaut

I can't run my 86 at Englishtown anymore, being that I refuse to install a rollbar... but if you're ever in the Old Bridge area, give me a shout, hehe, and I'll more than convince you to go with the latter.
