Question OF the DAY
Summit racing has a kit to make a 350 ci engine into a 427 ci small block. Does any know if this engine good for racing? will this engine just make Torque?, Or will this engine be good for RPM and torque? Thanks Guys for your posts

That kit likely will need either a 400ci sbc block, or needs an aftermarket block with spread pan rails to clear the cranks counterweights.
The 427 kits for the 400ci blocks use a 4" stroke... the same as a 454 BBC. With the right parts, you can make totally rediculous torque numbers. You could also build it to be gutless off idle, but scream to 10,000 rpm.... it all depends on how you build it.
