I live in Illinois and i have never seen an emissions technician look under the hood of the vehicle, i feel pretty safe in that respect. So if i hold this to be true, should i feel safe in having an LS6 or and LS1 in my GTA? Certainly the newer style engines run much cleaner than the older and hence would pass a tail pipe and dyno test quite easily, correct?

 

ls1 will pass emissions easily.. even a full bolt on.
