(as long as i get my tranny rebuilt to handle this) can anyone recommend what to get done to the tranny and the best set of headers and carb for the zz4? thanks, i cant wait

You'll find better answers on the tranny question by searching on the transmission/drivetrain forum. There's an outfit that makes a kit to make the T5 withstand up to 650 lb-ft of torque. Somewhere around $1600, IIRC.
Two possibilities on the carb: 1) You already have the best street performance carb - it'll bolt right on to the ZZ4, just tune to fit; 2) A mechanical secondary double pumper carb in the 650 to 750 CFM range - mechanical secondary carbs work a little better with manual transmissions than demand-based carbs like the q-jet, vacuum secondary, or Performer/AFB.
