I figure on just disconnecting the engine harness and remove the check engine bulb. Would the Speedo, Fuel, etc. still work or will I be better off fabbing a gauge cluster with Autometers? Im tired of the weak *** 305 and TBI. A 383 4 barrel should do the trick but Im not positive on some of the electrical headaches I might run into. I read the tech articles but they werent that clear on those issues. Any info will help.

 

All your gauges should work fine. I just performed a similar swap without any problems.

 

I was hoping someone would chime in on this. I appreciate it. Now if I can just get my 67 Chevelle sold and start buying parts!
