TPI to Carb.

I bought a new motor for my 91 z28. Needed to get away from the lil 305 that was in there, but i figured that fuel injection would be way too expensive of a route for me to go. SO i decided to swap from TPI set up to carb. Can anyone help me out on whats entailed? I know i need to replace the kick down cable, but i am not sure what else needs to be done. thanks

Mike

Well, at least you're staying true to your username...

Seriously, many people have gone the route you're considering. So many, in fact, that there is a tech article linked from the TGO homepage - https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/carbswap.shtml .

Look that over and see if you still have more questions.

its not too hard. i suggest the mechanical fuel pump route. its easier and less electrical probs to worry about. search for my name and this same subject i just swapped like a month or two ago and i pretty much addressed all the issues and in more detail then the tech article. any questions just pm me or something.
