LT1 help what else

Ok so I've read enough wiring material to know that I'm just going to break down and buy the complete harness for an LT1 swap into my 92. But what about the 4L60E, is it really the exact same demisions at the 700R4? Will fit through the tunnel and through my existing shifter consol? I wouldn't have to modify the driveshaft, just the cross member? And these AC/power steering/fuel lines, where are you people finding these?

You dont have to modify the driveshaft, nor the crossmember, nor anything else trans related with the 4L60E. Its externally exactly the same as the 700R4 you will be pulling out, other than having a different plug on the side and a different type of VSS.

I don't think I the VSS or the tranny connnection plug will be a problem. I'm looking at one of engine, tranny and computer setups off of ebay. Well good I might drop in the 4L60e instead of the 700. Thanks for the info man.

The connections arent any problem, I was just letting you know they are the only external differences between the 60E and R4.

Cool do you think that with the complete engine wiring harness and computer that wiring it will be slightly easier? When it comes to electrical I'm like a monkey with algebra lol.
