electrical/wiring question

I am in the process of planing a v6 (fuel injected) to v8 (Carb) swap. This might be a stupid question, but what electrical/wiring differences will there be. I know it all will be different but will i need to get a carb. ecm or just a v8 ecm? What will be involved in the electrical aspect of this swap? Thanks

can we assuime (shoots himslef in foot) that you read the sticky. Are you goin gw/the cake regular carb & vacuum advance distributor, or e-carb w/e-distro? 12v+ for electric choke, & distributor. What are you gonna do w/the fuel pressure? the ever popular mallory afpr? New braided ground strap for back of engine.

E-carb will need teh ecm from vee-ate. Best to get whole harness fromdonor car, under hood & under dash. also snag the ralely gauge cluster while you're at it.
