will a torque converter from a 700r4 fit onto a 4l60e?

If the 700R4 converter is a 30 spline, then yes it will work with the 4L60E.

The next question is, what motor is your 4L60E going up to?

If its going up to an LS1 then your 700R4 converter will not work with the LS1, you will need an adapter plate to make it fit in the input hole.
