Where to connect clutch switch plug?

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum...

I'm in the final stretch of my swap (305 to 355) and I ran into a problem with the wire harness branch that goes back to the trans (T-5). I know that the plug with the green and blue wires goes to back-up light switch (LH side of tranny case) , but what does the one on the end plug into? I'm pretty sure it's the clutch switch (purple and yellow wires) but I see nothing within reach.

Anybody know?

TIA,
Bob

Yes. Disables starter when clutch pedal isn't down.

At least that's what I think it is.

The harness branch breaks out on the left hand side of the large one that runs across the back of the engine. The Back-up light plug is located halfway down the branch; the plug in question is at the very end.

The clutch safety switch is typically on the clutch pedal on most manual transmission cars, nto to sure on thirdgens. Worse comes to worse just by-pass the switch and hook the two wires together.
