Computer Burning

I have a question about burning you own computer can i caliberate things like sensors like for say a knock sensor and is it worth it for me to buy the software to do it or should i just buy a chip from a company like jet

Not sure what you'd calibrate about knock sensor input...but I haven't seen settings for that on any MAF or SD tuning software I've used.
