Welcome aboard.

The problems you will run into will be too many wires, not enough wires, too short of wires, and wires that aren't getting the input/power they need, depending upon how you go about this.

You'll need wires for ignition power, tach, oil pressure gage, coolant temperature gage, and alternator. The coolant temp and alternator wires will be too short, most likely. You may also need wiring for an electric radiator fan, if you stick with that type.

You'll probably need a switched 12v wire for electric choke, if your carb has one.

Depending upon how you go about supplying fuel pressure, you may need to supply voltage to the in-tank electric pump (you'll need a return-style fuel pressure regulator if you do it this way), which is ignition switch and in series with an oil pressure switch. Or, if you go with a mechanical pump, you'll need to drop the tank and remove the in-tank electric pump.

If you have/use an automatic transmission, you'll need to provide some means of locking up the torque converter clutch (if so equiped).

What you really need to complete the swap is an understanding of what the systems did that you are removing, and what the systems you are installing will need.
