Fastburn 385 Hood Clearance

Axle/Gears: 3:23

Fastburn 385 Hood Clearance

The intake that comes with the Fastburn is slightly taller than the intake on the ZZ4.

I Know I can get a different intake for it but I need to know if the one that comes with it will fit into a 83 TA or similar w/out hitting the hood when the carb is installed.

Has anyone installed the the 385 Fastburn using the intake that comes with it.

Not sure if your actually got an answer to you question, the engine with the supplied intake will fit fine, you just have to use a droped base air cleaner. I have that engine in my '84 Trans Am with the tear drop hood.
