question on Power steering
has anyone ever tried to use the power steering and engine accessory stuff from an 80's vette? I kinda like the idea of the remote mount res for the power steering. wanted to see if this has been tried and if there was any problems also on the brackets too is there any problems there?
I have a 406 sbc.

If you're good at adapting stuff you find find a similar system on S10's with the 2.5L iron duke engine that came with power steering. For some reason GM didn't use the standard power steering pump with integral reservoir on this engine.

i like how the vette power steering setup and bracketry in general looks. it is a cleaner looking setup to me. also I was going to polish all the brackets. may just use the serp setup from a camaro though. but I like the idea of the remote res just because of deleting the emissions and more than likwly going to use a seled battery box in the truck and get rid of that too so there just won't be anything up there.
