corvette motor in camaro

alright i have a 86 iroc and theres this motor im looking at putting in IF POSSIBLE. what all would have to be done to put a 88 or 89 350 out of a corvette in my camaro which is 305??

Welcome aboard.

You'll need to change the oil pan and pump pickup, and the knock sensor & module for a 350.

You're keeping your current carb set-up, correct?

Very possible common swap esp. on these boards what 5.7 kid said is pretty much the gist of it if you keep the carb setup it is a pretty str8 forward project.

Forgot to mention the EGR valve won't work because the Vette aluminum heads don't have the exhaust cross-over passages the '86 carb system uses to feed the EGR valve the needed exhaust gases.

carburator

i have the regular quadrajet carb thats been rebiult recently. it will go on the 350?
im also researchin trannys for it. but not too sure on what really should be lookin for. lookin for manual though

The intake manifold and all the support equipment from your 305 will bolt onto the Vette engine and run it just fine.
