MPFI car to TBI

Am swapping a 88 305 TBI engine and trans into a 90 3.1 car. I believe the MPFI fuel pump puts out more pressure than I need for the TBI motor,is there a way to regulate this or do I need to swap pumps. I have the complete donor car,but figured I have enough work to do if I can avoid more. TIA.

Well after searching around,it looks like the TBIs fuel pressure regulator will handle the job. Only one way to find out.

The multi port fuel pump will suffice. TBI systems are low pressure systems and a V6 pump should provide a stable regulated 15 psi at all engine loads with ease.
