has any one made a newer supercharged 3.8 into a RWD car seems like a good idea definatley a improvement over LO3

 

it has been done persay, Holden Monaros(patform the new gto is built off) came stock with a 3.8 SC, but i'm not sure about anyone doing it themselves

 

either cut the firewall for the tb, get the Aussie side inlet manifold, or pay up for the rk sport/powerdyne kit w/the f-bod intake manifolds.

 

I saw a Dark Blue supercharged 3800 Ram Air Trans AM in the Pontiac display a few years ago at NAIAS.
(it might have been Autorama)
I'd build one if it could be done with off the shelf parts.
I'm almost done with a TTA to 92 Z28 Swap.

 

i ment a 3.8 supercharged into a third gen not just any rwd car thats what i was wonerding if fit and the OBD 2 conversions crap how hard would it be

 

you r best bet would be 95~02 3800II, ( since the camaro hood isn't slanted like th e birds, it cain use the straight tb) gt engine & dash harness (that way yo shouldn't have any fuel enable problems like I did).

A 97 pcm will pin up to th e 95/6 harness, and lets yo uchoose either hp tuners or digital hp programmers. I think the 99+ cars got the straight tb w/throttle by wire
