Engine: LT1
Transmission: Th350/4k stall
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.42s
TPI or Carb
i have a carbed 305 in my 92 rs . i was wondering if it would be worth my time to change it to a TPI setup. I found where i can get the whole setup for around $150.00. thats the engine, ecm, and tpi. should i change it. thanks

You'd want the engine harness, sensors and fuel pump as well.
The '85 TPI set-up wasn't the best, but it was okay as long as you aren't looking to max it out. Whether it would be worth your effort depends upon what you expect out of it.

What exactly do you want your car to do? Fuel miser? Speed demon? Bullet-proof daily driver?

im looking for a reliable setup but still be able to pull low 14s- high 13s ETs

Your current set-up on the TPI engine would be quicker. The TPI would get better economy. Reliability is probably a toss-up.
