TBI to carburated

I am in Wiesbaden, Germany and I have a 92 RS w/ a 305 tbi. I found a carburated 350 for pretty cheap and thats hard to do over here. I want to put it in my car, what needs to be done to make this work?? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Welcome aboard.

Wiesbaden, eh? My daughter was born there.

Need some clarification: Is this a German-registered car, or US military? In other words, will it ever come back to the States? If so, you may run into problems getting it back if it has a carb on it. If it's staying in Germany, probably not a problem (not sure what's going on there as far as emissions are concerned).

You don't necessarily have to keep the carb on the 350. There are several reasons not to. There's only one good reason to keep it - cheaper parts-wise.

If you stay with TBI, go to the TBI forum for info about 350 swaps. If you go with the carb, check out the Carb forum and tech articles linked from the www.thirdgen.org home page.
