finally!!!!!!
finally!! found an engine for my 91' i've got a friend who has a 92 rs with a 305 tbi thats worn out. her son had a wrecked 91rs with a v8 with 60,000 miles on it that he gave her! well her husband works all the time and doesn't have time to change engines so hes buying her a vette instead! so they gave me the v8 to put in my 91!!! ok heres my question though. in the 91 rs did they only have the 305 tbi or were some of the tpi engines. also with the donor car next to the transplant car it should be fairly easy as long as i label all of the sensors right?
i'm so excited about getting the white beast back on the road

thanks! i was going to build a 350 carbed but this will be alot nice and easier than building the engine, finding all the right parts(motor mounts, TRANSMISSION,), this way everything i need is right there!! and its fuel injected!!

Yes, the transmissions were identical externally once you get behind the bellhousing.

You shouldnt have to label any sensors, the TBI, and even TPI's for that matter dont have much and they all used different connectors just about so you cant just accidentally plug the injector connector into your IAC or something silly, you should also have no problem removing the engine / trans without removing the harness from the engine at all.
I would suggest considering swapping the dash with the chassis harness at the same time so you dont have to play games of hacking into things to splice in a TBI buffer box.
You could also search out a 90-92 TPI setup possibly in the classifieds and install that on the engine going in, as it will plug into your stock chassis harness seamlessly.
