ok i am pulling the old 3.1 out of my 91rs and transplanting an L03 from another 91rs my question is, what smog equipment can i remove from the 5.0 before the install that won't **** the computer off? i don't have any state inspections so the less restriction i have the better! thanks fellers for any input!

 

if you like simple, and emissions aren't of concern, a carb might be up your alley. Just a thought.

 

**** the computer off? Who cares? It won't run the L03 anyway...In a nutshell, you will need the ECM, harness, everything from the L03 car - PITA in my opinion, but I'm the lazy type.

 

i am pulling everything from the donor car including the computer and harness i just don't want a lot of the smog crap! i do want the fuel injection though! i guess what i am asking is what emission equip. will i need to keep in order for the computer to be happy! by the way the L03 is a 305 tbi isn't it? thats what i am pulling from the 91rs donor.
