Which flywheel to use for a pre-90 454 block

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
I think you'll need a new bellhousing too. The BBC uses the larger 168 tooth flywheel and it won't fit into a T56 bellhousing.

If it's a stock T-56 (93-97 type) use a CF 700107 or 700170, custom-balanced to the 454 "unbalance".
Forget all the 168-tooth crap, or what 454s "came with"; you need a T-56 part. Then you gotta match it to the 454 balance spec. Nothing else will work.
