92 350 block ?

It's been forever since I've had to put together an engine and this may be a real stupid question, Below the intake manifold should there be a deflector plate? I remember way back Chevy used to have a pan under the intake, I have this engine brought to me in pieces and trying to reassemble and sort through what I have vs what I need. Thanks, Eric

On roller blocks, the only "plate" under the intake would be the lifter retainer "spider."

I haven't seen a lot of disassembled 3rd gen EFI engines, but I thought they had the oil shield under the intake like the old carb manifolds did.

Could be wrong, though.
