Forged pistons, justifiable. Forged crank, pretty much a waste of money.
As stated, power is made with heads & cam. You probably won't gain much power retaining the 350 TBI heads, and certainly the power you can eventually get to will be limited. Having said that, you'd be better off having your 305 TPI heads worked over - 1.94" intake valves, pin the rocker studs or have screw-in studs installed, basic port work, and new valves springs. Those heads would then support much more power than the 350 TBI heads ever could.
Of course, TPI mods would be required to get what the heads and a cam are capable of achieving.

im not planning to keep the tbi heads on there, im probly gonna buy some afr's, and im well aware that the top end is where yuou make your power, i was just asking if there would be a big difference between the 2 motors, which sounds like there is, im gonna be puttin a centrificul blower on at a later time should i even bother with my 305 heads or just buy some afr's or somethin along those lines, i would like to try and be as budget friendly as possible but know that thats hard to do especially on blown motors

When you start talking about power adders, you're way beyond "difference between 305 & 350".
You need to build the engine for the blower. When you do that and don't put the blower on, it will be a dog. Best bet is to either put it in stock and build it later, or build it into its final configuration now.
