argument solver
Can someone out there settle an ongoing argument. A friend of mine,he said you can use the transmission from a 2.8 and put it on a 305.I said NO he says YES.Settle this for me someone!!!!

Car: 89 FORMULA FIREBIRD, 86 CHEVY CAMARO
Engine: L98, LB9 RESPECTIVLY
Transmission: 700 R4 (BOTH)
A tranny from a 2.8 will not fit on a 305 the bell housing has a totaly different bolt pattern, at least on the automatics, not to sure on a stick.
