BBC swaps.
BBC swaps.
ok, i know how to do the swap, im not doing one of these once a day threads. ive already searched it, but had no luck.
i was just wondering what your guy's are running.
if you could, id love to hear all about your cars.
engine setups/outputs, 1/4 mile times, suspension modifications, curb weight, tire type/ sizes, gearing, transmission setup, rear end, exhaust, you know, all the fun stuff. just a general idea of how the car does, and even some pictures would be great!
i think it would be a good idea (if the thread gets big enough) to sticky this, along with other threads like if for LS1/LT1 swaps, small block "swaps", and the "other" swaps.
thanks in advance.

Okay,to start, there already IS a sticky for BBC swaps, with all the info you need to pull it off.
My BB swap is still a new thing, haven't seen the track, scales,or dyno yet.I did nothing to the front suspension, rear is stock w/ boxed control arms,a 9 bolt w/ 3.73s.It WILL break.I'm just not sure how or when.
Exhaust on mine consists of Hooker swap headers, and low hanging, self made mandrel bent 3" exhaust. It sounds like a road grader going down my driveway, but clesrs well otherwise.
I'm running 275/60 drag radials, and they are seriously against the odds for traction.I'm gonna have to get an extra set of rear rims with some slicks,as I spend a fair amount of time on the street.
All in all,at this point I'm glad I did it,and my car most likely will never know another smallblock.

All you need to do is a simple search of the forums to see all kinds of threads on BBC swaps.
i did a search, and i didnt find anything that listed setups people have going. i understand how to do it. the swap is easy. i just want to know what people are running, and with what power, weight, and traction mods.
