383 carb swap help
ok so im just starting this and still collecting parts and im on to ignition now. i don;t want to use the computer for anythign which i shouldn;t if i get a new hei distributor but i was wondering what else i will need ignition wise to get this baby to run right. thanks

All you need is the distributor. Plug it in, set the timing, and go.

i like the summit $149 ones that have a built in coil and a vacuum can. they have a better ignition module and a higher voltage coil already as well. They also sell a cheaper $89 one that doesn't have those things. Otherwise you could always drop $300+ on a billet MSD dizzy and get the same performance.
