Motor identification help
Hi guys,
I bought a 91 Bird Vert this year and the previos owner put a crate in it. He said it was a 350 and that was about all he knew. I beleve that this is a crate, it has the TBI and can get up and go! it looks brand new but i dont know what year the motor is for getting little things like sensors and what not, or for finding specs. Is there any way to tell this like numbers on the block and if so where to i look for these numbers?
Thanks

Look at the casting numbers on the back of the block behind the driver side head to find out what it is.
The year of the engine means nothing in terms of sensors. Sensors have to match the computer, not the engine.
