Car: i have a 2003 ford zx2 and a 1989 f
Engine: 350 tuned port, 4 banger on the Z
Transmission: 700r4 poop loser
Axle/Gears: 3.23 standard ...one tire fire
few quick and easy questions

ok im pulling my motor and trans and dropping it in the same car just a year younger .. fire bird to firebird ... so is it easier to pull the motor and trans together or is it easyer to unbolt the motor and pull it and then pull the trans and do the reverse for install ? and dose any one know how to wireup a stock alternator in a carbed motor ?

I've found it easiest to pull the motor and trans together. have a couple friends around to help. same when dropping it in. maybe if I had a lift I might think different...but I don't...

together usually yes

no need to separate, you can get it to go in together jut fine as long as you can get the drivetrain combo up high enough to get the tilt you need to get the trans over the x member and down through there

gotta be a pretty steep angle

Together works if you have something like a shop crane that lifts high enough. If you're using something more like a chain block hanging from the rafters, then separately works easier.
